Monarch butterflies go through four stages in their life cycle:

• Immature stages: March–May, May–July, July–August, and July–October

• Adult stages: April–June, June–July, July–August, and August–April

• Pupae: Between spring and late August

• Death: Two to six weeks after becoming butterflies

So it sounds like the butterflies appear there in April - August (when they metamorphose into adult stage). Set your calendar!
