The location is now a residence, but the residents have kept the original logo in honor of the history. The building today:

A bodybuilder stands on the sidewalk in front of the original Gold's Gym back in the day and ponders the building across the street.



The building across the street looks the same as it does today. The black and white part of the photo might be from Pumping Iron, I don't know where I got it, but I took the picture of the blue building and photoshopped the black and white bodybuilder into it.


The original Gold's Gym location is just 4 blocks from the Venice sign and is between Brooks Ave. and Windward Ave. on Pacific Ave. The "new" Gold's Gym is just a couple blocks away from that.
